Crossing the Finish Line
This development started off without access to critical utilities. The town, in time, brought a sanitary sewer main to the site while Ricker Oil worked with IDEM to permit a water well. The onsite infrastructure was designed to accommodate the additional requirements by IDEM for the water well and once that permit was provided, Ricker Oil decided to extend the offsite water main to the site for use instead. The local stormwater ordinance required for onsite detention and landscaping took up the rest of the usable area. This development was unique as it was the first of the new building prototypes that Ricker Oil would construct that also provided a large outdoor seating area. The construction was completed and is now owned and operated by Giant Eagle as a GetGo.
